🍂If the power in your house is cut off for a couple of hours one day in the summer,the parents in the house won't get upset about themselves feeling hot. The man and the woman in the house won't get upset about themselves sweating and feeling frustrated. 🍂 But when the mother of the house sees her baby, when she sees that her young infant can't sleep because of heat, when she sees that her baby is crying and is unable to tolerate the heat, this breaks her heart. Now imagine ,what was happening in Imam Hossein's tents on the afternoon of Ashura in that heat and with that thirst because of this young infant. 🍂There were some who hadn't drunk any water in that heat for more than one day and night . surely, they weren't thinking about themselves when they saw Ali Asghar. I think the main reason Imam Hossein (pbuh) took Ali Asghar and showed him to the enemy's army._even though there was very little hope that these vicious people would feel sorry for the child and give him water. 🍂The main reason was that imam Hussain had no other choice . There was nothing else he could do .when he went into the tents and saw the commotion in the tents. 🍂Hussain ibn Ali (pbuh) had no other choice but to hold his baby in his arms even though the possibility that water would be given to him was very weak..of course they had wanted to give him water,they could have done it . After all, how much water does a six-month - old chikd need to quench his thirst ? 🍂If they had given imam Hussain half a cup of water ,it would have quenched Ali asghar's thirst. Despite the little hope that Hussain ibn Ali (pbuh) had,he carried his infant in his arms,lifted him up, and showed him to everyone. The condition of this child was heart _wrenching and would have certainly made any heart,even a stone_hearted person,feel sympathy for him. Imam Hussain sought to elicit their sympathy on purpose. This is correct when he says,"if you aren't going to show me any Mercy,at least have mercy on this infant." 🍂A Father does this for a small child in such a critical situation. That fatherly spirit of Hussain ibn Ali (pbuh) allowed him to request some water from them in order to save this child's life. At that moment, hussain ibn Ali was faced with life_threatening situation.
