از آداب خرید و فروش در اسلام امروز تبلیغات، یک اصل در تجارت است و می‌گویند تبلیغات هزینه نیست بلکه سود است. تبلیغ گاه به قصد معرفی کالا برای شناخت مردم از فواید و کاربردهای آن است که امری پسندیده است؛ زیرا هر روز کالا و خدماتی نو در بازار وارد می‌شود که مفیدتر و ارزان‌تر از کالاهای دیروز است. پس لازم است تا این‌گونه کالاها با تبلیغ، برای استفاده و رفاه مرم معرفی شود؛ اما گاه تبلیغ، مدح و ستایش و گاه دیگر به معنای غلو درباره کالا و مدح و ستایشی است که کالا دارای آن نیست. در مورد اخیر باید گفت که چنین تبلیغی دروغ است و باید از آن پرهیز شود. Rules of buying and selling in Islam Nowadays advertising is a principle in business and it is said that advertising isn't cost but benefit. Advertising is acceptable when it is going to introduce a product for people to understand how to take advantage of it , becuase everyday new products and services enter the market which are more useful and cheaper than old products. Therefore , advertising for such a products is necessary for people's welfare. however sometimes advertising is praise, sometimes is puffery which is false praised and exaggerating a product,that is false and this kind of advertising should be avoided.

حدیث امام على عليه السلام : و َابذُل ... لِلعامَّةِ بِشرَكَ وَ مَحَبَّتَكَ و َلِعَدُوِّكَ عَدلَكَ وَ إِنصافَكَ ... ؛ گشاده رويى و دوستى ات را براى عموم مردم و عدالت و انصافت را براى دشمنت بكار گير. Imam Ali ( PBUH ) Be Cheerful and friend with ordinary people and just and fair with your enemy.

پيامبر صلی الله علیه و آله و سلم : اَلعَدلُ حَسَنٌ وَلكِن فِى المَراءِ اَحسَنُ، وَ السَّخاءُ حَسَنٌ وَلكِن فِى الغنياءِ اَحسَنُ، اَلوَرَعُ حَسَنٌ وَلكِن فِى العُلَماءِ اَحسَنُ، اَلصَّبرُ حَسَنٌ وَلكِن فِى الفُقَراءِ اَحسَنُ، اَلتَّوبَةُ حَسَنٌ وَلكِن فِى الشَّبابِ اَحسَنُ، اَلحَياءُ حَسَنٌ وَلكِن فِى النِّساءِ اَحسَنُ؛ عدالت نيكو است اما از دولتمردان نيكوتر، سخاوت نيكو است اما از ثروتمندان نيكوتر؛ تقوا نيكو است اما از علما نيكوتر؛ صبر نيكو است اما از فقرا نيكوتر، توبه نيكو است اما از جوانان نيكوتر و حيا نيكو است اما از زنان نيكوتر. How good is justice, but better to be seen from governors . How good is generosity, but better to be seen from the rich. How good is piety, but better to be seen from scholars. How good is patience, but better to be seen from the poor . How good is repentance, but better to be seen from the young. How good is modesty, but better to be seen from women .
