امام باقر علیه السلام می‌فرماید: «مَثَلُ‏ الْحَرِیصِ‏ عَلَى‏ الدُّنْیَا كَمَثَلِ دُودَةِ الْقَزِّ، كُلَّمَا ازْدَادَتْ عَلى‏ نَفْسِهَا لَفّاً، كَانَ أَبْعَدَ لَهَا مِنَ الْخُرُوجِ حَتّى‏ تَمُوتَ غَمّاً= حریص به دنیا، همانند كرم ابریشم است كه هر چه بیشتر دور خود مى ­تند، خارج شدن از پیله بر او سخت­تر مى­ شود، تا آنكه از غصه مى­ میرد». حریص تا نمیرد، ول نمی‌کند. آنقدر درگیر کمالات بخش های «جمادی، گیاهی، حیوانی و عقلی» است تا اینکه در این مسیر می ­میرد. ما یک بی­نهایت بیشتر نداریم و آن هم الله تبارک و تعالی است و دل ما هم عاشق کمال بی­نهایت است. بنابراین، اگر بخواهی جای دیگری حرص بزنی، در واقع از بینهایت دور می‌شوی. تو هر باری که یک هوس جدید می کنی و یک طمع جدید سراغت می‌آید، در حقیقت خودت را از ابدیت محروم می‌کنی. یک لذت و نعمت ابدی را نابود می‌کنی. برگرفته از سخنان استاد شجاعی Imam Muhammad Al-Baqir (as) said: "In his love for the world, the greedy is like a silkworm; the more it wraps is its cocoon, the less chance he has of escaping it, until finally, it dies of grief." The greedy one won't give up until he dies, he is deeply involved in the perfection of the "physical, herbal, animal, and cognitive" parts that he dies along the way. We have no more than one infinity, and it is Allah, exalted and blessed, and our heart loves infinite perfection. So, if you are seeking elsewhere, you are actually detouring of infinity. In fact, whenever you have a new craving and new greed, you are depriving yourself of eternity. You destroy an eternal pleasure and blessing. Retrieved from the words of Master Shojaee
